Mine Expo 2009 was a huge success, the 2010 show promises to build on this success. City of Timmins and the Porcupine Mining Camp are booming in gold production. The Big Event will be front and center and will once again be the must see Mining Expo of 2010. Organizers say they will have no problem filling the venue.

Canadian Trade-Ex with the City of Timmins is hosting the The Big Event Mining Show to be held at the McIntyre Arena and Complex May 19th & 20th 2010. The event and it's components will address economic opportunities and challenges that the industry are facing.

The Porcupine Camp skyline is dotted with head frames that have come and gone for the last 100 years. Some have completely faded from our memories and while others have become fixtures of our landscape. These towering frames are reminders of who we are, and evidence of our mining heritage.
